Cập nhật hoạt động nghiên cứu ASPARNet tại tỉnh Phú Thọ và Đồng Tháp

Nghiên cứu Nâng cao hiệu quả chương trình quản lý sử dụng kháng sinh thông qua nghiên cứu hành động có sự tham gia, kết hợp xây dựng mạng lưới các bệnh viện triển khai chương trình tại Việt Nam (60HN – ASPARNet) tiếp tục triển khai các hoạt động trọng điểm nhằm thúc đẩy chương trình quản lý sử dụng kháng sinh (QLSDKS) tại các bệnh viện thuộc địa bàn triển khai nghiên cứu.

The study titled “Evaluating Antimicrobial Stewardship strategies and capacity building through Participatory Action Research and a Network approach in Vietnam” (60HN – ASPARNet) continues to implement key activities to promote Antimicrobial Stewardship (AMS) programmes across hospitals participating in the network.

Tiến sĩ, Bác sĩ Ngô Ngọc Quang Minh, cựu nghiên cứu sinh tiến sĩ của Đơn vị Nghiên cứu Lâm sàng Đại học Oxford (OUCRU), vừa được Sở Y tế TP HCM bổ nhiệm giữ chức vụ Giám đốc Bệnh viện Nhi Đồng 1. Quyết định có hiệu lực từ ngày 1/10/2025.

OUCRU scientists join global leaders at Oxford Tropical Network Meeting 2025 

The Oxford Tropical Network (OTN) Meeting 2025 was held from 15-18 September in Mombasa, Kenya, hosted by KEMRI-Wellcome. The annual gathering brought together colleagues from Oxford’s Overseas Programmes and partners including the University of Oxford, Wellcome Trust, CGHR, MORU, AHRI, MLW, and others to share insights, strengthen collaborations, and advance research in Tropical Medicine and Global Health.

Lao màng não không chỉ gây tổn thương do nhiễm trùng, mà còn do phản ứng miễn dịch quá mức của cơ thể. Sử dụng kỹ thuật giải trình tự RNA đơn bào, các nhà khoa học tại OUCRU đã xác định được những tế bào miễn dịch trong dịch não tủy có thể thúc đẩy phản ứng viêm. Nghiên cứu này đã xây dựng một phương pháp nghiên cứu tế bào tiên tiến, nhằm xác định các mục tiêu mới cho hướng điều trị tập trung vào vật chủ. Kỳ vọng, cách tiếp cận này sẽ cải thiện tỷ lệ sống và giảm tổn thương não do miễn dịch ở bệnh nhân lao màng não.

New study maps immune cells fuelling harmful inflammation in tuberculous meningitis

Tuberculous meningitis harms not only through infection, but also through the body’s own overactive immune response. Using single-cell RNA sequencing, OUCRU scientists have identified specific immune cells in the brain that may be driving this harmful inflammation. Their study established a cutting-edge cellular method to identify new therapeutic targets for host-directed therapy, aimed at improving survival and reducing immune-mediated brain injury in TBM patients.
