ÄÂối tượng trá»±c tiếp của dá»± án lànhóm ÄÂại sứ được tuyển trá»±c tuyến thông qua các trÆ°á»Âng đại há»Âc. Nhóm được tham gia đào tạo kỹ năng trÆ°á»›c khi tá»± mình thá»±c hiện các dá»± án, dÆ°á»›i sá»± Ä‘iá»Âu phối vàhá»— trợ của nhóm Kết Nối Khoa Há»Âc vá»›i Thanh Niên, thuá»™c phòng Kết Nối Khoa Há»Âc vá»›i Cá»™ng ÄÂồng vàCông Chúng của OUCRU.

How YSAs get involved in OUCRU's research
- After being recruited, Youth Science Ambassadors will have a series of necessary trainings including public and community engagement in science, project planning and execution, and communications, to name of a few.
- Training programme will be different each year based on what Youth Science Ambassadors would like to contribute.
After completing all necessary trainings, Youth Science Ambassadors will:
- Suggest and propose their project details with OUCRU’s School and Youth Coordinator.
- Discuss with OUCRU’s scientists and Public and Community Engagement group for feedback.
- Finalise their project plan.

Frequently Asked Questions
Eligible candidates are passionate young people who are interested in science, want to contribute to science, and able to commit to the project’s timeline.
Applicants should be based in Ho Chi Minh City.
YSA offers workshops, mentorship from OUCRU’s Public and Community Engagement specialists and OUCRU’s scientists, and opportunities for networking and collaboration within the research community.
Please note that YSA does not provide a salary to its participants.
There are no application fees. YSA covers costs associated with the workshops, training sessions, and mentorship.
The length of the project is based on Youth Science Ambassadors’ ideas and proposals but will not exceed eighteen months for each cohort. Participants are expected to commit to the full duration of the project to ensure they can fully benefit from the workshops, mentorship and networking opportunities provided.
YSA primarily targets young people who are currently based in Ho Chi Minh City. If you are based elsewhere, please contact us to discuss your eligibility.
Young people are expected to enhance their research capacity, project planning and execution skills, and contribute to the advancement of science literacty in their community. Long-term, the project aims to foster a network of young people who will continue their love in science in their career and life.
