AI applications in dengue monitoring and prediction are showing encouraging early signals, with new models achieving around 80% accuracy in forecasting severe progression up to two hours in advance. OUCRU alumnus appointed as new Director of Children’s Hospital 1, Ho Chi Minh City 

Dr Ngô Ngọc Quang Minh, an OUCRU PhD graduate, has been appointed as the new Director of Children’s Hospital 1, the leading paediatric referral hospital for Ho Chi Minh City and southern Viet Nam. His appointment was announced by the Ho Chi Minh City Department of Health and takes effect from 1 October 2025.
